We’ve released some brand new features and updates recently, so in case you haven’t spotted them yet, here’s a quick run down of what we’ve added for you!
New to LyricalCP
If you’re on one of our WordPress hosting plans, you may have noticed some new icons at the top of LyricalCP. Here’s a look at what we’ve added!
Create and manage your own WordPress staging website through LyricalCP
Previously we manually added a staging site for you if you wanted a safe playground to test out new things, or work on a new theme before putting it live. Now you can create a staging version of your website, edit it without it affecting your actual site, and put it live yourself (if you want to!).
WordPress Version Check
See the version of WordPress you’re running straight from LyricalCP. It’s handily color-coded so you can instantly see if you’re up to date or need to upgrade.
Plugin View
Now you can see the details of your installed WordPress plugins straight from LyricalCP, including information such as available updates.
Theme View
Similarly to the Plugin View, you can now see your WordPress themes along with any available updates.
WordPress User Accounts
Want to quickly see all the user logins that exist for your WordPress website? This quick look helps you do just that.
Core Integrity Checker
We scan your WordPress websites automatically every 24 hours, but to give you more visibility we’ve added a core integrity checker. This checks your WordPress core files against the defaults for your version. If anything looks wrong, different, or suspicious, it flags a warning for you. We can then work with you to investigate further and clean up your website if needed.
View General Settings
You can also see your general WordPress settings, including your site URL, title, and tagline.
Fresh icons and background
We’ve updated the icons and given the background a fresh duck egg blue look.
New domain registration options
You can now register or renew your domain names with us for 1, 2, 3 or 5 years! Lock in your price and forget about renewing on a yearly basis if you know you’ll be keeping your domain for years to come. There are also rumors that having your domain name registered for longer can help your SEO and Domain Authority.
If you already have a domain name you want to renew for a longer period, simply head to the Hub and extend your renewal from there. It will be added on to your existing months, so you won’t lose anything by renewing now.
New hosting plan options
Due to popular demand, we’ve also added the ability for you to buy a 2 year or 3 year hosting plan. Our standard monthly, six monthly, and yearly plans are still available. A 2 or 3 year plan means no worrying about payment methods expiring and you’re guaranteed to lock in your plan price. To switch to a 2 or 3 year plan, simply contact support and they’ll sort it out for you.
